TVS Motor Company rolls out Seven new products
Hosur, August 30, 2001: In what could be termed as the biggest roll out in Indian automotive history, TYS Motor Company, India’s third largest two-wheeler manufacturer, today rolled out as many as seven products from its Hosur plant, in line with the company’s commitment for this fiscal.
The seven products include the much awaited 3-wheeler in 3 variants, an Electric Scooter, an all new 110 cc Star City, a completely new 125 cc motorcycle called FLAME and a new Apache EEl. These simultaneous roll- outs are a tribute to the engineering skill of the R&D department and the
 
TVS workforce making it the first time that any two-wheeler company has attempted successful multiple rollouts on a single day.
Each new rollout signals avowed intent on the part of TVS to regain market share and momentum within the industry. These products, backed by the highest quality standards of the TYS group, have been launched with an eye to deliver high value to discerning customers. The new offerings are targeted at different segments of the two and three wheeler customers with emphasis on superior technology, styling and engine capabilities. These vehicles will provide further impetus to the growth of Motorcycle and Scootersales of TYS Motor 
 
Company in the coming months.
 
TVS today rolled out a complete range of 3 wheelers operating on eco friendly fuels LPG & CNO (factory fitted) in the passenger segment with an estimated industry size of 3.6 lacs / year (domestic & exports).
