Clutch is a major wear and tear item on a motorcycle. It's the part that sits between the engine and the gearbox and is subject to a lot of force nearly all the time. How long a motorcycle's clutch lasts depends on multiple factors, chiefly the way it's ridden. While it's not uncommon for the clutch to last over 50,000 Kms if the motorcycle is ridden well, a badly ridden motorcycle can have its clutch worn out in a few thousand kilometers. While a motorcycle's clutch is due for replacement, there will be multiple tell-tale indications that you, the motorcyclist, need to be attentive. Here are three main symptoms of a clutch on its way out. Slippage Slippage is a clear sign of an ageing clutch. Slippage is simple to understand. It happens when the engine's RPMs keep on increasing, but the motorcycle is not gaining any speed or is gaining speed quite slowly. This means that the clutch has started to slip and is very close to the end of its life. Hard gear shifts When you face more effort to shift gears even when the clutch is fully depressed, it means that there is something that’s not quite right with the clutch. Even mechanical noises while shifting gears are indicative of a clutch not working as it ideally should. Contact your service center if this happens. Shuddering Shuddering is what you experience when you release the clutch too fast. However, if this happens even when you release the clutch slowly, it means that the clutch is on its way out and would soon need replacement.

i am facing similar issues as mentioned above plus there's an odd rattling sound coming from engine at between 3.5k to 4.5k Rpm, bike is only ridden 4400kms and 3 months old, I think I got a faulty bike so can I get replacement of bike or atleast engine replacement..?
