Buying the TVS iQube from a city where it currently isn’t sold and taking it to another city may be a challenge due to state legalities. Also, we do not have after-sales service and roadside assistance for the iQube in such cities, which may hinder your ownership experience.

Yes, you will need a valid two-wheeler driver’s license to ride the TVS iQube. The TVS iQube is a hi-speed electric scooter having a top speed of 78 km/h, which is above the 25 km/h cap for registration and license. Thus, registration and two-wheeler driving license is compulsory.
Yes. However, the subsidy will be applicable to only 1 electric vehicle per customer and linked to your Aadhar Number.

Yes, the booking amount is fully refundable. However, once the final payment for the vehicle has been made, the booking and final payment amount is non-refundable.
We have received an overwhelming response for all variants of the TVS iQube. We are currently overbooked, and due to this, we have a waiting period of 30 days for the iQube and 45 days for the iQube S from the date of booking. However, timelines may vary from time to time based on demand.

Yes, your TVS iQube can be driven in rain, however we suggest you carry a raincoat for yourself. The TFT dashboard is also rain-resistant.
Yes, the TVS iQube can be washed at a regular water washing station. However, we recommend that you do not direct the water stream at areas like the charging port, the bag hook area or the underneath the seat regularly.
No, the iQube comes with a fixed, pre-installed SIM from the factory.
Yes, you can ride the iQube in stagnant water up to a depth of six inches or 150 mm, with all safety precautions taken for the rider. You can be rest assured that all key components below the floorboard are IP67 rated and will not be affected. We recommend you watch out for potholes though.
The TVS iQube comes with two driving modes – Eco mode can reach a top speed of 45 kmph and Power mode can achieve up to 78 kmph. You can choose a mode best suited to your riding style.

Here are a few tips to get the best performance out of your TVS iQube.

  • Do not hold brakes while riding. Though it is a common practice among scooter riders to hold the rear brakes ever so slightly while riding, it should be avoided as it reduces the life of your brakes and consumes extra energy in the process, thus reducing your efficiency.
  • Rapid acceleration and riding at high speeds also uses up your battery faster.
  • Maintain the recommended tyre pressure and check periodically (refer to the owner’s manual for correct tyre pressures for your vehicle). If they are under-inflated, their rolling resistance increases as a result, more energy is consumed to move your scooter.
The motor used is an energy efficient low noise BLDC hub motor with 4.4 kW peak power and has been put through rigorous tests in the harshest weather and road conditions.
The TVS iQube has a gradeability of 10 degrees which makes it easy to ride over inclined roads. It has been tested in the high Himalayan mountains and was the first electric scooter to reach the remote Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh.
Your TVS iQube comes with a 3 year / 50,000 km warranty, which includes the battery and the motor. Damage caused due to poor maintenance, external factors and negligent use, however, are not covered. Please refer to the terms and conditions listed under Warranty Information in your owner’s manual for further clarification.
Your TVS iQube is equipped advanced safety features. In case of high ambient temperatures and/ or operating the scooter with heavy loads, the TVS iQube is designed to optimize operating temperatures to maintain utmost safety, which may result in a slight change of performance along with an alert notification on the dashboard.

The charging times for different variants are as under:

  • TVS iQube : It takes approximately 4 hours 30 mins to charge from 0 – 80% with the standard 650 W charger.
  • TVS iQube S : It takes approximately 4 hours 30 mins to charge from 0 – 80% with the standard 650 W charger.

It takes around 3.5 kWh of electricity to fully charge the TVS iQube. This is equivalent to 3.5 units of electricity. Assuming the cost of electricity to be ₹ 7, it would cost you just ₹ 24.50 for charging your TVS iQube from 0% to 100%. This will allow you to cover a distance of 100km per charge.

Fast charging impacts the lifespan of Li-ion batteries and as of now TVS iQube does not support fast charging. We are continuously working on fast charging technology that has the least impact on battery life and would bring it to market at the earliest.
Your TVS iQube and iQube S comes with a standard 650 W charger that can plug into a 15 A household socket and does not require a separate line or meter to function. In case your designated parking spot is far away from your residence, you may need to arrange for a separate connection.
The TVS iQube’s charging socket only consumes nominal energy - less than a night lamp - in standby mode.
The cluster will show the battery status as 100% and switch off after a delay once fully charged. The registered mobile app, depending on your subscription plan, will show the live battery charging status as 100%.
No, there is no risk to your TVS iQube as it comes equipped with a smart battery management system which prevents overcharging. However, it is always advisable to switch off and unplug the charger once the battery is fully charged.
The charger itself has a cooling fan built in, which cuts in and out depending on the operating temperature. Apart from the fan noise from the new 650 W off-board charger for the new iQube and iQube S variants, the charger emits no other noise.
No, the new 650 W chargers have been designed for the new TVS iQube specifically. They are not compatible with old generation TVS iQube.
No, it is advised to use TVS provided chargers only to charge your iQube for better performance and longer life of the battery. Usage of chargers not supplied or recommended by TVS will result in loss of warranty for your iQube.

This will help you plan your rides and charging sessions better. The plug-and-play portable offboard charger makes it easy to carry and can be used at any 15 A domestic socket, making it convenient to use in every situation.

Absolutely. The TVS iQube has the lowest discharge rate of any electric scooter, in the category. It loses only about 5% charge for 10 days of non—operation. That means, even if you took a month-long vacation, your scooter would’ve only dropped by roughly 15% of charge when you got back. For best results, ensure you leave your TVS iQube with at least 50% charge.
In terms of maximum range, the TVS iQube and iQube S can reach up to 100 km per charge (Eco Mode, with solo rider). The iQube ST range capability will be released at launch, please stay tuned to our official social channels.

The connected features on TVS iQube vehicle are packaged in the form of the ‘Basic’ and ‘Advanced’ packs. To avail of this, you will have to purchase the subscription plan by going to the subscriptions section available on the top left hamburger menu on your TVS iQube app. The first year of ‘Advanced’ features is free for a limited period.

The first service of your TVS iQube is scheduled after 6 months from the date of purchase or 4000 km of riding, whichever is earlier. The second service is scheduled after 12 months from the date of purchase or 8000 km of riding, whichever is earlier. The next services are scheduled every 12 months or 4000 km of riding after that.

TVS iQube comes only with paid service options. However, the services are few and far between compared to petrol scooters.

TVS iQube being an electric scooter, requires minimum consumables during service. Depending on the maintenance schedule or the amount of wear on the parts, replacements may be required.

Parts will be charged as per cost and labour charges for the service provided will be added to your service invoice.

Our roadside assistance will generally get to you in about 45 minutes, but traffic and weather limitations are factors beyond our control, which can impact the time.
