Norton: Engineering a Global Premium Comeback

FY 2025-26 marked the year in which Norton’s comeback began to move from ambition to visible reality. Continued investments in product development, engineering capability and manufacturing readiness strengthened the foundation for the brand’s next phase of growth. Backed by investments exceeding £250 million to date, Norton also expanded its workforce during the year as preparations accelerated for future launches and scaled production readiness at Solihull, Birmingham, UK.
An all-new premium motorcycle line-up, led by a flagship superbike platform, signalled the beginning of Norton’s next chapter and reinforced that the brand’s resurgence is being built around a broader family of premium motorcycles rather than a single product story.
Norton’s evolution also reflects TVSM’s wider premiumisation ambitions. Beyond expanding the Company’s presence in premium mobility segments globally, the journey is helping build deeper capabilities in luxury engineering, premium retail and global brand-building. Plans for a differentiated retail and ownership strategy during the year further reinforced this approach, recognising that premium customers seek elevated experiences alongside high-performance products.
At the centre of this transformation is Norton’s Solihull facility, which continues to anchor the brand’s design, engineering and manufacturing ecosystem. Its resurgence is also being supported through deeper engineering linkages and ecosystem relationships in the West Midlands, helping preserve Norton’s British character even as the brand is being re-engineered for future scale and global relevance.
