Enhancing premiumisation across the portfolio

We significantly accelerated our premiumisation strategy during the year by expanding into high-value segments and introducing advanced technologies. A major milestone was the launch of the TVS Apache RTX 300, our first adventure rally-tourer. To commemorate two decades of our flagship brand, we rolled out Apache 20th Anniversary Limited Editions, featuring exclusive black-champagne-gold livery and segment-first features across the lineup. In the scooter segment, we redefined performance with the NTORQ 150, India’s first hyper-sport scooter. Globally, the resurgence of Norton Motorcycles remained a key focus, with four new models slated for international markets. These efforts, combined with a focus on connected technology and racing-inspired engineering, enabled us to consistently grow ahead of the industry in the premium motorcycle category.

Embracing sustainability across the value chain

We reinforced our environmental stewardship by achieving approximately 97.13% renewable energy in our Indian electricity mix and transitioning Norton Motorcycles (UK) to 100% renewable power. We released our inaugural Nature Report aligned with TNFD and earned an A– leadership score from CDP and an ESG score of 65/100 from S&P Global, ranking among the top seven in the global automotive sector. Sustainability was further embedded into the product lifecycle as the TVS Jupiter 125, Apache 160 4V, TVS Apache RR310 and TVS iQube, TVS Apache RTR 310 to receive the GreenPro Ecolabel in India. To ensure responsibility across the entire ecosystem, TVSM assessed 320 suppliers and 617 dealers under its My Sustainability Index and hosted a Supplier Sustainability Summit to translate intent into measurable action across the value chain.

Expanding business operations globally

Our global expansion agenda gathered stronger shape in FY 2025-26. Beyond strengthening our footprint in Africa (Kenya, Republic of Congo) and Latin America, we also established a Global Centre of Excellence for Design & Engineering in Bologna through the acquisition of Engines Engineering S.p.A., strengthening our premium and connected mobility capabilities. Our partnership with BMW Motorrad crossed 206,000+ customers globally, while our EICMA 2025 debut and Europe roadmap signalled a sharper move towards industrialised markets. PT TVS Indonesia reached a historic 1 million units production milestone during the year.

Scaling up the commercial mobility business

We significantly scaled our commercial mobility business, with 2.19 lakh three-wheelers sold. A major growth driver was the entry into sustainable urban logistics with the launch of the TVS King Kargo HD EV and its CNG variant. Market share in the EV three-wheeler segment crossed 11%, supported by strategic partnerships with Alt Mobility, Kadam Mobility, and OOR Cabs. We also supported accessibility through a partnership with Manba Finance, extending EMI-based financing across our passenger and cargo three-wheeler portfolio. Internationally, three-wheeler exports surged 48.9%, driven by strong demand and currency stabilisation across African markets and Sri Lanka.

Attaining leadership in the EV business

Our EV journey widened meaningfully during the year. We delivered 3.71 lakh EV two-wheelers, up 33%, while also strengthening the portfolio through refreshed iQube S/ST variants, the launch of Orbiter, and the introduction of the Orbiter V1 BaaS model. The business also expanded its reach through a 1,000+ EV dealer network and expansion of the public charging network to ~5,000 points. We strengthened our commercial presence with TVS King Kargo HD EV and debuted iQube in Indonesia while also delivering units to the Vatican City State.
