EVs are vehicles that operate on an electric motor. They are designed with rechargeable batteries which can be charged by electricity from an external source.

TVS King features a PMSM-type motor with a peak power output of 11kW and peak torque of 40Nm, coupled with a 9.2 kWh battery pack. It also features Industry-first Bluetooth connectivity with SmartXonnect, offering the driver with turn-by-turn navigation, Remote charging Status, incoming call alerts and notifications, live tracking with vehicle location, fleet management and a total of 26 connected features. Furthermore, it has a 500 mm water wading capacity and Hill Hold Assist functionality which makes it an all-weather electric three-wheeler. TVS King EV Max can charge from 0-80% in 2 hours 15 min, and 0-100% charge in 3 hours 30 min. The portable charger ensures that the TVS King EV Max is always ready for business. For hassle-free ownership, the TVS King comes with an extended warranty of 1, 50,000 km/6 years along with 3-year free maintenance and Roadside Assistance.
TVS King electric models are designed with a 9 kWh battery pack that takes less than 1.5 hours to be charged up to 80% and less than 4 hours to be charged up to 100%.

TVS King Electric's off-board charger is not waterproof. It is perfectly safe to ride it during monsoon. Customers are advised to maintain similar precautions for the EV vehicle as they would maintain with petrol / diesel engine vehicles.

The electric motor uses energy only when the vehicle is moving. When stationary, the only energy consumption is from any additional systems that you are using, such as a music system, additional lights etc. The stationary TVS King Electric three-wheeler uses very little energy, especially compared to a conventional fuel-powered three-wheeler, which consumes energy even when stationary as the engine keeps running.

• Use regenerative braking: when you need to bring the vehicle to a stop, first release the accelerator pedal to decelerate gently, then stop the vehicle with the brake pedal at a lower speed.
TVS King Electric models have 5 batteries, 4 for powering the motor of the car & one for a regular system like lighting, horn, infotainment system etc. The battery pack that powers the motor of the TVS King Electric is placed in a secure location - 2 under the Driver seat and 2 within the rear passenger cabin compartment. The conventional battery is located under the passenger legroom area inside the rear cabin.
