TVS Motor's Sales at 118,157 units in November'06

TVS Motor Company continued its growth trend by clocking 1,18,157 units in two wheeler sales in November 06 compared to 1,13,261 units in the same period last year recording a growth of 4%.

The motorcycles recorded a 68,874 units in November 06 compared to 68,122 units recorded last year.

The StaR City's new variant with electric start coupled with its trend setting looks continues to receive favourable response. The company, to mark TVS StaR's achievement of over 1 million mark sales, launched a unique 5-year warranty scheme, which allows even the existing customers to enjoy this privilege. This initiative also signals the high quality standards achieved by the company as a result of the relentless drive towards establishing exacting quality standards for all its products. TVS and its products have always stood for quality and that has reflected in some of the leading independent national surveys undertaken.

The number 2 brand in the premium segment, TVS Apache recently came on top in a Customer Satisfaction survey conducted by TNS Automotive, a leading research company.

TVS Scooty continue to dominate sub 100 cc scooter segment recording 21,791 units in November 2006 compared to 21,057 units recorded in the same period last year. The company launched a 2-stroke variant, 'Scooty Teenz' in select markets. Scooty Pep+ continues to be the number 1 brand among young girls.

In the export front, TVS Motor Company continued its good performance having exported 7500 units in November 2006, recording a growth of 23% compared to the same period last year.
