Big Bike Fantasy: Why TVS Apache RR310 is All You Need
Many bikers graduating from 100-150cc motorcycles want something big, fast and comfortable, something upwards of 600cc+ imported motorcycles and Rs. 5 lakhs. But are these 600cc+ motorcycles practical for Indian roads? And isn't a home-grown motorcycle like the TVS Apache RR 310 a much better option on multiple fronts? Allow us to explain why the TVS Apache RR 310 is actually all you need to fulfil your big bike fantasy.
1. It's BIG. The TVS Apache RR 310 packs in a 310cc four stroke engine but has impressive dimensions. Apache RR 310 has tremendous street presence, and constantly gets second glances, be it in the parking lot or on the road.
2. More than enough power for Indian roads. Indian roads make riding a motorcycle fast extremely risky. The risks are amplified on 600cc+ superbikes that can hit illegal speeds in seconds. On the other hand, the TVS Apache RR 310 has more than enough power (34 Bhp) for Indian roads, and much of it is usable on regular roads.
3. Made-in-India: Affordable maintenance. The Apache RR 310 is a fully made-in-India motorcycle with manufacturing happening at TVS Motors' Hosur factory. This ensures affordable parts and reasonable maintenance costs. In contrast, 600cc+ superbikes will cost more than a premium hatchback to maintain.
4. Low downtime in case of crash repairs. Face this. If you ride a motorcycle hard, there are chances of dropping it and damaging quite a few parts. While doing this on an Apache RR 310 will leave you with minimal downtime, the same happening with a 600cc+ superbike is sure to leave you bike-less for quite some time until parts arrive from overseas.
We will be back with exciting events after COVID-19.
