Stopover in Hyderabad

The riders entered Hyderabad and made the first stop to charge the TVS iQube while sipping on some hot tea. They immersed themselves in the local sights and sounds while appreciating the agility and ride comfort that this TVS electric scooter provides.
Being a metropolitan, Hyderabad had a lot of speed breakers. The well-tuned suspension setup added to the riding comfort. Furthermore, the iQube excelled in terms of its compact form factor and urban flickability, letting the riders navigate the city lanes with supreme ease. Along with that, a lot of focus has been given to make the battery setup safe.

TVS iQube has an IP67 rated battery setup (water and dust resistant) with aluminium extrusion casing. Additionally, there’s also a BMS controlled protection system.

Onto Maharashtra

With Maharashtra being one the largest states in India, TVS iQube had another long highway stretch to cover across this coastal state. Hence, it was crucial to have navigation assistance and ride-related data to plan the charging. This is when Turn-by-Turn Navigation Assist and DTE (Distance-to-empty) powered by SmartXonnect were put to good use.
Any roadside shop was a good stopover thanks to the portable 650W charger - a 5A socket is all that was needed. And with SmartXonnect, this electric scooter kept both riders connected and informed on the go.

TVS iQube has SmartXonnect that shows key vehicle statistics, Live Tracking, Last Parked Location, crash alerts, and so much more.

Entering Varanasi

This leg of India-Nepal the journey was all about beautiful sights while travelling. It was another 330 km long highway stretch to be covered by the riders. But before that, it was time for a good ol’ highway-style meal and another quick charge for the iQube. As the riders enjoyed the food, their smartphones offered all the ride-related details along with the state-of-charge thanks to the remote charging status on the TVS iQube App.

TVS iQube has 2 Li-ion batteries which can be charged from 0-80% in 4.5 hours. The way these batteries are placed results in a lower centre of gravity for enhanced riding dynamics.

Passing through Bihar, Ready for Nepal

The riding dynamics of TVS iQube made the ride ahead quite easy. Its extra-wide seats, 32 litres of under-seat storage and nimble handling were a boon for the riders as they had the required comfort, practicality and performance at their disposal.
It was the first time that this competitively TVS iQube price was ridden in the dark, and the powerful LED headlamp offered excellent illumination on the road ahead.

TVS iQube comes with Q-Park Assist which lets you reverse the scooter in tight spots and difficult parking situations, saving the manual effort involved.

Entering Nepal

“Hey TVS, what’s the weather in Kathmandu?” to which the voice assistant replied, ‘Cloudy weather ahead’. This was when the riders reached “Birjung”, the first city in Nepal. The last 138 km were to be along Trishull River. The stretch accounted for a steep climb on unpaved roads – this is where the combination of a solid suspension setup and precise power delivery helped the riders glide effortlessly through this stretch. By now, the riders had full confidence in the reliability of TVS iQube on this ev scooter ride to Nepal. Turn-by-turn navigation was once again engaged to find the way ahead.

TVS iQube is powered by a BLDC motor which delivers 40 Nm of peak torque. As a result, TVS iQube accelerates from 0-40km/h in just 4.2 seconds, making it easy to go past steep inclines!

The Kathmandu Chapter

After traversing the treacherous mountains, the riders were in high spirits not just because of how iQube had performed so far but also due to how Kathmandu enamoured them. Finally, riders entered the urban region as they took the Kalanki Underpass.
In a friendly gesture, the riders stopped to offer a lift to some fellow pedestrians. This was the first time the TVS iQube was ridden with a pillion. The extra-long and well-cushioned seat drew appreciation from the pillions and the wide floorboard offered ample room for the rider to ride comfortably. Once again, the ergonomics of the iQube shined through!

Similar to your smartphone, TVS Motor also provides OTA (on-the-air) updates for TVS iQube. This keeps this e-scooter up-to-date in terms of new features and optimized performance.
