TVS Motor Company announced today that it has signed on popular Bollywood actress Preity Zinta as its Brand Ambassador for TVS Scooty PEP, India's most preferred scooterette. Preity Zinta is the obvious choice for TVS Motor Company as her youthfulness, style and contemporary looks exemplified the brand attributes of TVS Scooty PEP.

The event also marked the occasion of TVS Scooty crossing the one million mark, a significant landmark in the scooterette category. TVS Motor Company is the first Indian two-wheeler manufacturer to have reached the milestone for a scooterette.

Bringing Preity Zinta - Scooty Pep association to life will enable TVS to take 'First Love' campaign further by positioning it as a vibrant scooterette packed with Style and Economy. A new print and television advertising campaign with Preity Zinta in her Scooty Pep will hit the media in May 2004.

The launch of PEP resulted in a 24 % growth in volume with TVS having sold 1,89,261 in April 2003 - March 2004.
