Exports increase by 53%; Scooters grow 22%
TVS Motor Company registered total sales of 175,535 units in November
2011 compared to 157,041 units in the corresponding month of the

The company's cumulative sales for the period April to November 2011
grew by 12% with sales of 1,499,612 units against 1,341,106 units
recorded in the previous comparable period.
As a result of lower overall economic growth, high inflation, increased
fuel prices and interest rates, we expect some moderation in the growth
of two wheelers over the next three to six months. Hence we did not want
to increase trade stocks. Consequently billing for the month is lower
than our initial indication. However the Company is confident of
achieving the annual growth target of 15%.

Total two wheeler sales grew by 12% with sales of 172,829 units in
